Thanksgiving 2025

Thank you for being in my universe.
Â
Thank you to my clients. I'm enlightened and enlivened daily by each of you. You are the heart and soul of this work. You are the movers of the universe. I say it often, and it's true, you are incredibly powerful, and it's an honor to witness you.
Â
Thank you to my partners. I'm graced by your wisdom and generous service. There are so many ways we can work together to help people find their wholeness and strength, and live joyful, authentic lives in connection with community and nature. Let's keep going!
Â
Thank you to my family and friends for supporting me as I endeavor to harmonize all aspects of my life and hold together this work with all of the other ways I be in the world.
Â
Let gratitude grow.
Â
Gratitude is medicine for a good deal of what troubles us. It can carry us through dark, cold times if we cultivate it and allow it to grow. It grows best in warmth and moisture. We must actively create the conditions for gratitude to flourish so that we can receive its healing.
Â
Let yourself be nourished.
Â
We create warmth and moisture within by allowing ourselves to be nourished. Not just in the conventional ways. Not in the ways that work for our friends and influencers. We are nourished by the things that work especially for us.
Â
If you delight in a beautifully set table, place the items with care and love. Let their glisten and texture move you. Savor the setting, the environment you're creating, the backdrop for memories that will last a lifetime. Enjoy it with all of your senses. Let yourself be lit from within.
Â
If food is what inspires you, be it the cooking, the serving, the eating, or the generous comments afterward, "those sweet potatoes were so delicious, I think they count as dessert!" Give yourself time to be with all the parts of the food that speak directly to your heart and your tummy! If you're sitting to eat, pause and take a breath. Take it in with your eyes, then your nose. Let yourself salivate a little before taking a bite. Elongate your pleasure, why not?! We are only truly nourished when we let ourselves be nourished. When we hurry, are stressed, or are multitasking, we are not fully digesting our food, our experiences, thoughts, or emotions.
Â
If company is what warms you from the inside out, be fully present. Listen actively with your whole being. Give an extra squeeze at the end of a hug. Take a little more time, dive a little deeper, let one of your inner walls down. Let the child in you come out to play. Laugh deep into your belly, don't hold back a snort!
Â
If what nourishes you best is a long shower or a bath, be all in, feel the warmth of the water, inhale the scent of your products, enjoy some self-massage, splash around a little! Or hit snooze this time, read a few more pages of your book, gaze longer out the window at the passing of clouds or the quiet streets below. Maybe you prefer the wind down. A gentle walk under the stars after your meal, some quiet time taking in the sounds of people talking or the snoring of your pets, or a big, warm mug of ginger tea.
Â
If you purchase the candle but do not light it, there will be no flame. If you light the candle but do not pause to witness its magical dance, it will not move your spirit. If you've collected treasures that are collecting dust, notice that. Come back to them, let your hands caress them, and remember why they are here. Whatever it is, if it nourishes you, let it. Make room for it. Expand to receive it. Like a good moisturizer, allow it to spread and penetrate deeply. Feel the warmth that grows within you. Allow it to settle and soothe a busy mind, active nervous system, and tired body. Notice how gratitude can naturally grow in the fertile grounds of self-nourishment.
Â
Enjoy your Thanksgiving or your Thursday, however you will, and let it be all that it can be for you.
Â
And maybe tomorrow and the next day, too. 😉
Â
In wellness, warmth, and wonder,
Â
Christine
