“When I began my yoga journey several years ago, I could barely touch my toes and could not do a single push up. I also had no concept of alignment or breathing, and much as I loved my flow classes, I was often discouraged and confused by my own perceived ineptness. After a few months of this, I finally signed up for Christine's basic beginner class, and thank goodness I did! Christine clearly explained the essential forms and gently guided us into our best expressions of them. When I returned to regular flow classes afterwards, I was amazed at how much I had grown, not only in my understanding of the poses, but in the overall body awareness that allowed me to more fully access the yoga experience. I’ve been practicing for 3 years with Christine. Christine is incredibly knowledgeable and really knows to how to transfer that knowledge to those who practice with her. I find that I’m still evolving as a student of yoga with Christine’s expertise. Even while practicing online, her cues for each posture helps keep good form and is so, so beneficial to my practice. Love that Friday Flow class. What a great way to end the week and prepare for the weekend. I've practiced yoga for over 20 years with a few different teachers and was impressed by Christine's deep knowledge. She's very personable, and engaging too. Working with Christine has been wonderful. She has such a deep knowledge of the human body and takes the time to explain all the movements in a manner that allows you to focus less on the screen and more in your body. I have tended to be timid attending yoga classes in the past because my flexibility is limited, but I no longer feel that because of Yoga Oggi. While I do feel challenged by some of the postures, Christine is always reassuring that where you are today is enough. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in both my strength and balance and I always leave my practice feeling empowered and more in touch with myself.
